Spin-A-Thon for The Rainbow Centre #savetherainbow · 20 August 2019

We help people with motor disabilities to improve their quality of life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 20th August we will be holding a ‘Spin-a-Thon’ outside our offices, 1000 Lakeside, Portsmouth to raise money for our chosen charity The Rainbow Centre.

As a team we will be 'spinning' from 8.30am and then for the majority
of the day, to reach our 550km target which is the distance from Paris to the Rainbow Centre in Fareham. Knowing how competitive we are, we will want to reach a bigger distance than this, although truth be told we are not the avid gym goers that we proclaim!

Therefore, please support us in our mission to raise as much money as we can for a worthy cause.

Founded in 1990, The Rainbow Centre supports children and adults and
those caring for them, who are affected by neurological conditions, enabling them to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives.

Katie, a member of the Dynamite team, is a family friend to a young boy called Stan, who has learnt to walk through the support of the staff and the great facilities available at The Rainbow Centre. (more information on Stan's journey can be seen on their Facebook page).

However, their services are now under threat after a significant drop of charitable giving this year. They want to raise £100K by the end of August to prevent the cut back of services or perhaps even closure.

That is why we are holding this event.

Thank You.
