Having worked in optics for the last 6 years I have seen first hand the impact that this disease has on people. Having recently joined the macular society myself I'm a massive advocate for the work they do.

Over the last year I've become more aware of the Macular Society and the support that they offer to people with Macular Degeneration. It's life changing for someone who may have had good vision most of their life to then start to lose their sight. This is why it's amazing that this charity can provide both help and support for people going through this.

This is my first ever full marathon and its going to be a long journey preparing myself for it so any contribution you can make no matter how big or small would be MASSIVELY appreciated!
