As part of my Bar Mitzvah preparation, I have committed to raising money and awareness for a charity I really care about.

This is known as a “Tikkun Olam” project.

"Tikkun Olam" is a Hebrew phrase that can mean “repairing the world” which suggests humanity’s shared responsibility to heal and transform the world.

I have chosen to support Become, a charity for children in care and young care leavers. Become give help, support and advice to children in care and young care leavers and help them to take control of their life and unleash their potential.

So, I have decided to run a marathon...1 mile a day for 26 days!
