Sharon Wilkinson-Gurney is raising money for Samaritans
In memory of Stephen Mcanespie
Story
** Dylan will be running the Thistles Great Stirling Family Run (2km) on Sat 28th April 2018, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Kids Kilometre on Sat 26th May 2018 and the Simplyhealth Mini Great North Run (1.5km) on Sat 8th September 2018**
On 13th May 2017 Dylan's Uncle Stephen passed away aged just 45. Stephen was a one-of-a-kind guy who was generous and caring, full of fun and always there for anyone in need. He could always be relied upon to give sound advice and loved sharing some banter over football and the NFL. His death has left a huge hole in our family and shattered the lives of his wife Victoria and children Adam and Emma.
Dylan misses his Uncle Stephen immensely and hopes his run can help raise some money for the Samaritans in Uncle Stephen's name so that he will continue to help people needing support as he did during his life.
Samaritans provides a vital service to people who desperately need someone to talk to. It can be a lifeline for them and, in turn, for their families. They answer a call EVERY 6 SECONDS!! They rely on donations to be able to provide this service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. 84 men in the UK take their own life every week. Every suicide will have a direct impact on 135 people.
