Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This year DWS will be running in memory of Neal’s wife Aideen McAlindon (née Mooney), who we sadly lost to cancer last May after a
brave but tragically short battle. Aideen’s last days were spent in the
Northern Ireland Hospice, where she received excellent care in an environment that supported all the family and those who loved her most. It is hard to describe the feeling of calm that the Hospice creates, and the comfort they provided at the time of Aideen’s passing.
DWS staff, friends and family are donning their running shoes to take part in the Belfast Marathon, Team Relay and Fun Run on 5th May. A number haven't run for many years!!!
We have 1 marathon runner, 8 relay teams, and 13 fun runners (aged 5 to 83!), all pushing themselves outside their comfort zone to raise money for the Northern Ireland Hospice.
Please dig deep and support us whatever way you can. Any help you can give will be much appreciated and you will know that the money is going to support other families in their time of need.
A big thank you to all our runners:
