We send used bicycles to Africa to improve access to water, education, jobs

Story

Riding a bike for most of us is just plain fun! But for some people not only can it be fun but also the difference between getting an education or not!

We would love to raise some money and awareness for Re-cycle  Bikes for Africa and give more kids the chance to get an education and access to amenities for health and work .

I was going to ride the Dynamo this year for fun, then Shedman and I started chatting about doing it in a tandem ... Why have 2 on a bike when you can have 5 we said!!!!  5 became 4 as safety became important.

So we have assembled a team of mad Shedmen and riders and we are going for it! Making in our shed a 5 man bike and riding it from London Fields to Dunwich.

Specail thanks to Spadge for materials and help :) Michael Ridge for expert frame welding, Richard for the awesome forks   You chaps are awesome. The thanks also to Darren of SCS Technaseal for loan of one serious Mig Welder!!

If you think the project is worthy like we do and you can help please donate

Many thanks

We collect used bicycles in the UK and we ship them, in containers, to people who need them in Africa. Some people living in rural African communities walk miles everyday to reach water, school, work or healthcare. Bikes are a sustainable mode of transport and help change lives for many families.
