Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page
Please help us to raise funds for Horatio's Garden, in memory of darling Horatio Chapple, by sponsoring us to walk 26 miles from Winchester Cathedral to Salisbury Cathedral along the Clarendon Way on 14 April.
Horatio's Garden is being created at the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre in Salisbury, as an innovative rehabilitation garden. It will be a place of tranquillity and beauty, and also rehabilitation therapy, for patients with a spinal-cord injury and their families.
Horatio planned to study medicine and was a volunteer at the Spinal Treatment Centre. While volunteering there, he helped with the research that identified the patients' need for a garden.
Horatio's Garden is being designed by Cleve West, one of the UK’s leading contemporary landscape designers, who won Best in Show at Chelsea in 2011. Work will start at the end of February.
