We support those affected by cancer to make them feel less alone

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page, once again we are cycling the 50 miles from London to Cambridge to raise a few quid for a worthy cause!!

We have chosen Cambridge Cancer Centre this year because, as many of you will know, late last year Duncan lost his sister, Alison, to Cancer.

The Cambridge Cancer Centre is now based in Shelford, Cambridge next to Scotsdale garden Centre. This new support centre, which opened early in 2008, was built on land donated by the garden centre, and with help from a £100,000 donation from the business.  The new purpose-built centre offers a much-needed permanent new home to the charity, which was founded in 1986 and it is a centre which we know Alison would have used and got a lot of help from.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cambridge Cancer Help Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So, if you are able please support this worthy cause!!

Thank you

Duncan, Alan & Lisa
