Story
On 13 November 26 March I’ll be jumping out of a plane at over 10,000 15,000 ft – a three-mile freefall – to raise funds for Single Homeless Project.
I’m hoping both my fervent fear of heights and the fantastic fundraising cause will encourage you to donate generously.
A couple of disclaimers:
- The action-shot picture is vaguely misleading as it will in fact be a tandem dive
- Title description is also (slightly) misleading
CHARITY
At Workspace, I've worked closely with Single Homeless Project and know just how impactful their work is in transforming the lives of young homeless people.
Across 32 boroughs, SHP tackles the underlying causes of homelessness, such as poor mental health or drug and alcohol dependency. Often that means being there for people at a critical time, whether to prevent their eviction or help them off the street; to get them into drug or alcohol treatment or support them with their mental health; or to help them find a job and a flat so that they can take the final steps to living on their own.
