I've wanted to undertake the challenge of a Marathon, as it's the next step in my physical achievements.  It won't be easy and the training has been tough (wind, snow, ice, rain, you name it, I've trained in it!). 

For me, it's important that I can also help others through my achievements, so I've decided to run the Newport Marathon and to raise money for the NSPCC.

Did you know that over 295,000 Childline counselling sessions with children and young people took place in the last year.?

It costs £4 for Childline to answer a call from a child who phones the helpline.  If I can fund a number of these crucial calls, I'll feel I've made a small difference.
