Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have taken on the challenge of running the Dublin City Marathon on 29th October 2023 in memory of my late Father, James Fox, who passed away on 21st December 2021 from Leukemia. He was a fantastic husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to so many and we miss him dearly every single day.
He battled for nearly five years and in that time got to see the birth of his twin granddaughters, Lily and Marley. Those few extra years that we got will live in our memories forever.
The Irish Cancer Society does vital work to help in the battle against cancer. I hope to raise as much as I can in Dad's memory, but also to give others going through the fight some hope for future.
Thank you for visiting my page and all donations, big or small, are so gratefully received.
Now all I have to do is manage to finish the marathon!
