The inspiration for my 'Challenge' comes from one of my heroines.  Her name is Lilly and she is 10 years old.  In the last year or so she has raised over £900 for a variety of worthy causes.  She has not been asked by her school or her family, and the motivation and initiative has been all hers.  Rather than sit back and watch others, she has devoted her own time to support others and she has inspired me to do the same.

The Challenge

I am proposing to walk to the majority of schools in the Sevenoaks Partnership (30 ish!) promoting the 'Walk to School' campaign whilst also raising money for our new building.  The distance I am planning to walk is approximately 50 miles (a mile for every year!) and I am hoping to complete the challenge in two days - legs permitting!

How you can support?

A number of staff and parents have offered to walk with me for some of the route but the main way that you can show your support is by sponsoring me.  This is a once in a lifetime challenge (unless I get to 100!) and it is not something I envisage repeating.

When?

The final date is yet to be pencilled in to the diary but, weather permitting, I am planning to complete the challenge early in the New Year.
