Story
DUES will be running a charity stream on Sunday 22nd August in light of the recent Activision Blizzard and Riot Games lawsuits and walkouts in support of both the victims that were harassed or abused within the company in the past and currently. As well as this, we as a society wish to continue standing for and promoting the inclusion and equal fair treatment of women within esports and the overall gaming community, from the developers to the players. Because of this, we have chosen to raise money for The Survivors Trust, a charity which upholds over 120 organisations that provide specialist support to sexual abuse survivors across the UK and Ireland.
We will be hosting a range of cross-uni tournaments from Fall Guys to Minecraft Hunger Games with sponsored prizes, as well as promoting multiple individual streamers from our own community throughout the day playing your favourite games. Tune in to unlock donation rewards for the streamers and Exec team, and help us raise money for a wonderful cause! Please do share the stream on your socials and get the word out, we'd love to see as many of you as possible on the day!
