Story

Kim, Lauren, Ruth and Niki have pledged to do at least 2 million steps for the Duchenne Dash at Home 2022 (30th April - 11th June) to raise money and awareness for Duchenne UK. We will be joining others in the Duchenne Dash at Home.

Four years ago our best friend Jen and her husband Alban received the heartbreaking news that their son Dexter has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a devastating muscle wasting disease that mainly affects boys. Children will be totally paralysed by their teens and many won't live beyond their 20s. Two families a week in the UK are told that their child has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

There is no treatment or cure. But thanks to recent breakthroughs, and with your help, we believe a cure can be found.

We have pledged to complete at least 2 million steps between us by 11th June to raise money and awareness for this brilliant charity.  You can read more about DMD and the remarkable work of Duchenne UK here: https://www.duchenneuk.org/

Please help us reach our target by sponsoring whatever you can.

Thank you ❤️
