Story

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 30th June 2018, 28 of us will be up in the Scottish Highlands climbing Ben Nevis. Standing at 1,345m (4,411ft), this majestic mountain is the highest point in the British Isles.

Why on earth are we doing this?

We are passionate about providing assistance to those less fortunate than ourselves. So we continually challenge ourselves to raise as much money as possible for 5 incredibly worthy charities - brief details of which can be found below. We call it Doing The Right Thing (DTRT). It would mean the world to us if you would consider sponsoring our challenge and leaving some kind messages of support.

Our amazing 2018 DTRT Trekkers are:

Amanda Ambler, Amy Lee, Anita Snell, Anthony Smalley, Catherine Staniforth, Chris Middleton, Daniel Kenworthy, Daniel Kirui, Dev Malle, Duncan Gedge, Ed Percival, Emma Page, Gary Wort, Gemma Patchett, Gilmour Machado, Guy Evans, Hamza Hussain, Jade Norwood, Kane Overton, Kazminder Sangha, Matthew Jowett, Nand Roy, Rob Gurney, Sam Crooks, Sean Knight, Stacie Hobson, Tom Sheekey and Vicky Haddock

Our 5 fantastic DTRT charities are:

- The Bridge - from homelessness to hope (Leicester)

- Mustard Tree - supporting the homeless and marginalised (Manchester)

- The Hope Centre - tackling poverty and homelessness (Northampton)

- Simon On The Streets - turning rough lives around (Leeds)

- Snehalaya Childrens Home - a home of love for children with Cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities (Pune, India)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
