Tough Mudder North West 2023 · 9 September 2023 to 10 September 2023 ·

General campaign to consolidate all our efforts.

Story

We are taking on the 15km Tough Mudder challenge on the 9th September 2023 whilst hoping to raise as much money as possible for Disability Snowsport UK. After personally volunteering on a DSUK trip in February 2023, I saw firsthand the amazing work of everyone involved with this brilliant charity and the positive effect it has for skiers with disabilities. This incredible experience has lead to meeting some amazing people and we need as many donations as possible to support DSUK further.

Disabled people are more likely to experience:-Poor physical and mental health.-Loneliness.-Poor self-worth.-Limited access to sport, especially snowsport. Disability Snowsport UK has been helping disabled people access the unique benefits of snowsport for over 45 years. The benefits of snowsport, what we like to call the Power Of Powder, are truly remarkable and can combat all of the above challenges that disabled people face. Check out some of our skiers and snowboarders personal stories to hear what it means to them.
