We have chosen Heart Research UK as many of us at DS Smith Packaging have had family and friends who have suffered from serious illness such as heart disease. We wanted to do something significant as a business to give back to others and demonstrate our commitment to being a caring and tenacious company which cares passionately about the communities where our sites are based.

What are we doing to raise money?

On the 6 of September I and another 5 “riders” (actually 4 MD’s and 1 other Sector Director) from DS Smith Packaging will cycle more than 900 miles over 11 days across the UK (Lands’ End to John O’Groats is only 874 miles!!).  We start in Livingston taking in the DS Smith Packaging sites of Lockerbie, Featherstone, Clay Cross, Belper, Louth, Fordham, Ely, Blunham, Devizes, Bristol and finishing in Launceston !!!!
