Hi,

I'm saying no to alcohol for the whole of January to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I love a glass of wine, so there is significant sacrifice involved in this! (I'm updating this on Jan 24th - you may have heard that Rioja sales in the South East have plummeted to worrying levels).

I originally set the target for this page to £500 but thanks (so, so much) to everyone that's donated, the total cruised past £500 with  still a week to go. So I posed the question 'Is it fair to those who've already donated, if I raise the target?' and the response was basically 'What does it matter, it's all for a good cause'. So basically - thanks for all donations - I'm so pleased to have raised so much, but since there's still time - I'm looking to get to £700.
