Happy New Year! I have decided to take part in the Dryathlon and give up alcohol for January to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in the memory of my Dad, George Mills, who died of Bowel Cancer in September 2008, and to commemorate the life of Sophie Vessey, a work colleague of my Husband's who sadly died on Christmas Day this year.

I know cash is tight, especially after Christmas but if you can donate, however small, it will all help to beat this horrible disease and helps Cancer Research UK bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Wish me luck - anyone who knows me well will appreciate my love of white wine :) and hopefully agree that donations to support me in this is money well spent!
