Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Team Aussiethon A little bit about why we're doing this... Our brother Robert Hutcheson has been fighting leukemia since August 2012 and it's one long rollercoaster ride for him and us. We want to add our tiny contribution to try and find a cure for this terrible disease. What makes it even harder for us is the fact that he's so far away in Australia and we can't be there in body to support him through this, only phone and skype, so............. We're becoming Dryathletes. All through January we're not going to touch alcohol. Not a drop. So instead of buying us a drink, we'd like you to donate. Every pound helps Cancer Research UK bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. If we happen to slip off the wagon, we'll chuck in £15 to make up for it. Cheers. The Dryathlete’s Oath We promise that we shall take part in Dryathlon™, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern it, committing myself to a month without alcohol, in the true spirit of do-gooding, for the glory of Dryathletes and the honour of Cancer Research UK.
