Story

On Friday 22nd April we’ll be hosting an online sloth birthday fundraiser party on our socials, with live sloth talks, Q&As and quizzes – and you’re all invited!

As part of this, to raise money for The Sloth Conservation Foundation we're giving away a sloth encounter!

TO ENTER:

Pop in a suggested donation of £2* to this fundraiser, and comment a question you would like to ask our team about our sloths on our Facebook post

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?

For their birthdays this year, our sloths Flash and Sophocles said they don't want presents, they instead want to raise money for their favourite charity The Sloth Conservation Foundation to help them buy trap cameras which they desperately need over in Costa Rica, to monitor sloth bridges for sloths who are suffering the devastating effects of deforestation. One trap camera costs around £350 and we would love to buy one for them with your help!

Anyone who donates can receive exclusive wild sloth footage from the camera they have helped sponsor – so even if you don’t win the big prize you’ll still receive this amazing footage. Please email tamara.nasser@drusillas.co.uk to sign up for sloth footage updates

A trap camera costs around £350, and we will only give away the experience if we raise enough money to buy at least one camera.

*donations are voluntary and suggested, and not a requirement to enter, but we'd love to raise as much money as we can 😊

About the charity

Saving sloths from extinction requires innovative and long-term conservation solutions that provide sustainable ways for sloths to coexist with the people sharing their habitat. We have developed a range of community-based programs that help us to achieve this mission.
