As many of you know my boyfriend was diagnosed with leukaemia in January 2017. He has undergone intensive treatment in the fantastic Haematology department at University College Hospital and is now in remission, but the impact on both of us has been huge.

Even as a doctor myself, I had never before realised how awful this diagnosis is, how intense and miserable the treatment and how it destroys every aspect of life. 

Leukaemia Care provide support and information to people suffering with this illness  - both so important and greatly appreciated by us. Please therefore give as generously as you can so that they can continue this work for others.
