Following the launch of The Drinks Coach UK last month, TV personality and wine expert Joe Wadsack and leading drinks communications agency CUBE Communications have announced their support of The Drinks Trust’s Covid-19 Emergency Fund, a fund set up to support those in the hospitality industry directly affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. 

“As we all know, the hospitality trade has been badly hit by the Coronavirus and we want to do our bit to help out. So, from this week, we will be encouraging all brands featured in my daily sessions to make a suitable donation to The Drinks Trust to support its great work”, says Joe.

“All drinks that are featured in The Drinks Coach UK are drinks that I personally enjoy and that I want to encourage consumers to explore. We’ve been approached by many companies and brands wanting to know how to get involved and now we can harness that interest in a way that helps others who really need support through our dedicated JustGiving page,” Joe continues.

James Gabbani of CUBE adds, “this seems to be a win-win for all involved at a time when we all feel like we are losing. Beers, wines, spirits, lo/no, mixers, coffee, tea – you name it – if Joe likes it and features it, a donation to The Drinks Trust will make it taste even better!”

Through 10-12-minute videos that are streamed at 8.30pm every weekday on The Drinks Coach UK’s dedicated YouTube Channel, Joe Wadsack takes viewers on a tour of the drinks world from the comfort of his sofa, sharing his vast experience of the industry between witty anecdotes, all with the aim of keeping consumers entertained and improving their drinks knowledge. 

Topics tackled to date have included Glassware, Sparkling Wines, Aussie Shiraz, Provence Rosés, Beers and Malbec.
