Story
After an unplanned break in the race for Covid we plan to resume racing in February 2022 and I really hope to finish what I started. After 27000 miles the boats are stuck in the Philippines. Fingers crossed it is safe to carry on with the race and I can reach my target £40000.
Now I have got my head around the fact I am going to embark on my round the world adventure it’s time to get my fundraising pages set up. I am raising money for East Cheshire Hospice @ Home. This is an amazing service giving patients far more choice and control about the care they receive and where they receive that care. Given the choice, most people would like to spend their final days in the place where they feel most comfortable and that place is HOME. However for most people this is just not possible due to limited resources, this can result in unwanted admissions to a busy hospital ward. The Hospice @Home team is made up of experienced specialist nurses and highly trained healthcare assistants, who can offer hands on practical and nursing support to patients and their families. Please visit my justgiving page if you would like to support the hospice. I am setting my target at £40,000 thats only a £1 per mile so should be a piece of cake to raise :)
