Cancer is one of those things that affects all of us in one way or another. Having lost my dad, and several close colleagues to cancer in the last few years I see myself as one of the lucky ones.  

More frequently I hear stories of so many people affected by this cruel disease, and it just isn’t fair. Over 2.5 million people in the UK have a cancer diagnosis and this number is rising year on year.

Thank you so much for supporting my fundraising. I have always had a huge passion for running. Since 1996, I have run four marathons and five half marathons. This is my first half marathon in quite a while since contracting pneumonia in 2015. I am not as fit as I used to be, so I am running this for fun. I will be dressed as Harry Hill's long lost brother "Larry Hill". It's all about making people smile and raising a bit of cash.
