I moan about aching joints now and again, but the truth is that 10m people with arthritis in the UK are in far worse shape because they have chronic long-term pain. Many are young, and some are just babes in arms, as I know from working in a paediatric arthritis unit.
Arthritis Care campaigns for all of them, and gives them help in managing their pain so they can have a life.
This week I climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge, dragging along Nel, my best friend from school ever, who was brave enough to make the journey despite being afraid of heights and having had two knee replacements. We felt privileged to make this exhilarating journey and to raise funds for Arthritis Care. I'm very grateful to those who sponsored the climb already, and there's still time for more of you to add to the total.
Thanks so much.
