I am running for the Centre for Cardiovascular Imaging at Great Ormond Street. I am currently working there doing my own research cardiac MRI scans, but I am only one of many people doing many research projects. It's obvious from my time there so far that they do some great clinical and research work with both children and adults with cardiovascular disease, and have a good track record for delivering results that they put into clinical practice.

However, all research comes at a price no matter how good it is! From my own personal experience, I feel strongly that this is a worthwhile cause to be running the marathon for - and I am hugely appreciative for you offering your support too.
