As some of you know Down High has entered four relay teams into this year's Belfast Marathon. The charity we have chosen to support is INVEST IN ME.

We chose this charity as it is campaigning for biomedical research into ME, which my mum has had for the last year.

Mum has been chatting to other people via the internet and says that there are many who have been much more severly affected with ME than her.  Sadly this illness affects both the young and old and there is presently no effective treatment.  Much more biomedical research needs to be carried out!
