Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
My grandfather died in Queenscourt hospice several years ago.
The care he received was excellent.
It takes £3,500 every day to keep the hospice open and allow people to die in peace and with dignity.
The fund raising challenge is two fold;
1) I am to run the Windermere marathon (hilly) in under 4 hours.
2) My father (Dr Peter Downham, chairman of the hospice) is going to get under 13 stone by the same day. This is a loss of nearly 2 stone. No easy going when you are disabled.
