Towards the end of 2019, Doug had exhausted most treatment options for his prostate cancer and at that time, was given a short prognosis on his life. His doctor decided to put him on a new treatment but it was not covered by insurance. Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) gave him the funding to continue with this treatment and was a true blessing to our family by prolonging his life allowing us to make so many special memories with him.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor Doug's life by donating to Patient Advocate Foundation to "pay it forward" and help others who may need assistance with their healthcare.
