Story
75 years ago, on July 3rd 1945, my wonderful uncle Jackie was born! Jackie was born with an intellectual and developmental disability. He has been a wonderful gift to the Sullivan family. So many of you have either met my wonderful Uncle, or definitely have heard some great stories of how he has touched our lives! For 45 years Jackie has been lucky enough to be living as a resident at Good Shepherd Manor.
Good Shepherd Manor has provided high quality and compassionate care for hundreds of men with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1971. They offer well-maintained residential facilities paired with a comprehensive Health Care Program for all residents regardless of age. For almost 50 years, their mission has been to serve the needs of the men. This client-centered mission has allowed Good Shepherd Manor to develop services to meet the needs of our clients regardless of their age-related demands.
Due to Covid, Good Shepherd Manor will be hosting its first virtual brunch auction – “I want to hold your hand!“
I am reaching out to my friends and family on Facebook to help us raise money for this incredible nonprofit organization! No amount is too small! It is so important now more than ever that the wonderful programs at Good Shepherd Manor continue! I am so grateful for any support you can provide! Thank you!!
