Mum suffered two strokes in her latter years, the second one being too serious for her at nearly 92 to recover from. We were both privileged to see and in awe of the wonderful work the Stroke teams at the hospital and in the community do for people struck down with this condition.  We saw first hand that, just like cancer, a stroke does not just effect the elderly but also the young.  Mum was a great one for giving to others and so we just know she will be so appreciative that people will remember her in this way.
