As a nurse and theatre sister, Dorothy was involved in Opthalmology (eye care) both in Malawi at Nkhoma Hospital and in Norwich at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.  Supporting CBM combines mum's heart for medical care as well as her heart for accessible health care for those who cannot afford it.  Our grandmother lived with sight loss for many years and was another motivating factor behind Dorothy's concern for those who were losing their sight.
