Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The South West Coast Path is the longest of the country's National Trails, with a length of 630 miles. It follows the coastline of England's South West Peninsula, from Minehead in the North to Poole Harbour in the South.
This year, the SWCP Association celebrates its 40th birthday, and to mark this, they're organising the Great South West Walk to raise money for much-needed improvements along the path.
Even though I'm not taking part in the organised walks, because I prefer to walk on my own and LOOK AT the scenery, I aim to complete the 630 miles this year. I've already walked all of the North coast and around Land's End to Penzance. Storm damage and natural erosion have created areas in desperate need of reinstatement and refurbishment.
As well as general improvements, drainage, better steps and surfacing, some of the funding will go towards repair of areas of storm damage that you will have heard and read about. The Association is in desperate need of funds to maintain this National Treasure.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Any donation - no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
