Story
So 3 of us (Christine, Colin and Iain) from Surgical Exams and Jon from Application and Online Services at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) have decided to throw on our running gear and trainers on Sunday 26 May and run the team relay to raise funds for the College's chosen charity this year - Bowel Cancer UK.
We thought this was a marvellous opportunity to do a team activity whilst hopefully raising money for a good cause. Our team is made up of experienced runners in Colin, Iain and Jon with Christine being a complete beginner to running but the boys have been so encouraging to her. We are running 26.2 miles between us and this how we plan to do it:
Iain - The Royal Leg (8.3 miles)
Colin - The Cock and Pan Leg (5.5 miles)
Jon - The Gosford Leg (8 miles)
Christine - The Glory Leg (4.4 miles)
We would be so grateful for your support and contributions should you wish to sponsor us. We have set ourselves a target of £1000 and thank you in advance for any donation made.
Wish us all luck :)
