Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm going to be running the London Marathon on 25th April 2010 in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust (http://www.anthonynolan.org.uk/about/). The reason I chose to run for this charity is in memory of my Grandad, Bert Ward, who we lost to a form of leukaemia in 2007. I always looked up to my Grandad and he taught me a lot. He was a real family man and always treated me so well. He is fondly missed.
This will be my first marathon, so I'm expecting it to be tough. Training's going OK, with the odd injury, but I'm looking forward to getting through the finishing line.
I know it's not a great time to be asking for cash, but I would be extremely grateful for any donations you would be able to muster.
Thanks very much,
Donnie
