I'm competing in the Sea to Summit 2024 Challenge through my company Hays to raise money for Every Youth!

EveryYouth is the national charity for 16-25 year olds facing homelessness. EveryYouth exists to help vulnerable young people access mental health support, enter meaningful employment, and secure a home of their own.

It's been 10 years since I participated in such an event so I am in no doubt that this will be a real physical challenge for me given I am now much older and much less fit than I was back then... however I'm determined to push myself to accomplish this goal and support this incredible charity. 

Help us raise £50,000 to give young people bright, independent futures! On Saturday 22nd June 2024 - during the peak of the Summer Solstice, 50 Hays participants will travel from the picturesque coastal town of Caenarfon to the foot of the summit of Wales' highest mountain 'Yr Wydffa' (Snowdon) From there, we will scale this iconic mountain on a journey that will challenge and inspire in equal measure, before returning by bike to the start. (This will involve a 32km cycle in addition to climbing Snowdon 🚵‍♀️⛰🥾😳!!)

By raising £50,000 we could; - Provide 2,000 Job Coaching sessions for young people to take their next steps into employment, education or training. - Offer approximately 370 Boost Grants to help a young person overcome additional costs like uniform, course books or travel - Place at least 37 young people into a career or education pathway.
