Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

As most of you know, Woody was diagnosed with 2 types of Leukaemia in May 2016, and is continuing well on the road to recovery after a successful bone marrow transplant. Again to say thank you, we are keeping up the tradition and taking part in the Walk for Wards to try & raise awareness of the fantastic work the Bone Marrow Team put into saving lives. Thank You doesn’t ever seem enough to say for all the work they put into finding a 10 out of 10 donor match for Woody, but if we can give something back by enjoying ourselves walking, that’s the plan. Every little helps.

Thank you for reading Woody’s story & your continued support. xxx

About the charity

We help Sheffield’s hospitals, community teams and health and social care services to cover costs their NHS budgets can’t. We fund support for patients and staff, life-changing research and more, so that we can enhance care from birth to the end of life and everything in between.
