Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was unable to do the first half marathon that I entered, a couple of years ago, as just prior I had what was thought to be a mini stroke.  Fortunately after various tests symptoms all seemed to be related to a severe migraine.

Following that my marriage broke down and have to say for a while I "let things go a bit".

This last year has been a campaign to myself to pull it together and regain some fitness.  Various situations with friends and media have re focused my thoughts that  there are people much worse off and I in fact am very lucky with my health and support I have from family and friends. I have done various events this year including 10k Race for Life.This is my final challenge for 2014 until I start again next year! :)

I work at a major trauma centre and see the work that this amazing charity do.  They need all the support they can get to continue their work.  I hope to never be in need of them but am glad they are around and know people who owe their lives to their fast response.
