Story
I can't believe that I am actually doing this again....I must be mad!
But did you know that Essex and Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) receives no government funding, NHS money or lottery funding? Surprising isn't it? This charity needs £500000 per month to keep flying; that's why I am doing my bit to keep them airborne. Should we ever need it then it's great to know that it is readily available to us.
So China here we come.....shorter trekking distances but that is because we'll be more vertically challenged with this one! Same length of time walking per day as other treks (7-8 hours) so something tells me this is going to be so much harder!
Tanzania in 2017, Alps in 2018 and now China in 2019 for this wonderful charity.
I have met some truly lovely people while doing these treks; some, like myself are doing it just for the challenge while others have had first hand experience of needing the Air Ambulance. I have been massively humbled by some people I have met, their stories are testimony to why this charity needs to be available to all.
Please dig deep.....I know I keep asking for money but it all adds up.
Thank you, once again, from the bottom of my heart. Without you all I wouldn't have raised the £8950 that I did over the past 2 treks combined.
