I am aiming to achieve a half marathon in order to raise funds for Diabetes UK. With the help from friends and family we can help this charity improve the lives of people living with this condition. Many of you may know Guy Walshaw personally or through a friend, he has undergone a kidney and pancreas transplant as a result of diabetes, however Guy has unfortunately recently had to undergo surgery to have both organs removed and now awaits another transplant. Guy's sister Donna who I admire for all the support and love she has given Guy unconditionally along with her mother and stepfather has made the decision to undergo numerous tests with the hope of becoming a donar for Guy. Diabetes is a very common condition yet we are all unaware of the signs, symptons and action we can all take to improve our lives with, your help we can make a difference.
