Colin's brother David and I would like to raise money for the  "Aberdeen Lung Cancer Group Fund" as my Husband Colin received such wonderful support from the Aberdeen team and was fortunate enough to participate in one of the clinical trials offered to him, he was the only person in Europe on this particular trial. Colin's oncologist Dr Nicolson always gave us hope with various treatment options and it would be good to know that this can be extended to other local people suffering from this most awful disease.

It really was an extremely hard fight for Colin, but he never complained and tried so very hard to remain upbeat and positive throughout. It's THE most devastating thing to see your loved one battling cancer and fading away in front of you, the pain really is overwhelming and we hope that others can benefit from this funding. In some respects we were lucky that Colin was able to fight for as long as he did...... But I would give anything for just one more day, hour or even second with the true love of my life.
