On March 3rd 2017 a very dear friend of mine (and boss) William (Bill) Searle passed away from Mesothelioma (a type of cancer caused by asbestos). When battling this disease Bill and his wife Ann raised a total of £7,000.00 which was donated to St Lukes Hospice as it was a Charity that was very special to him ❤️
I have decided to challenge myself & compete in some events in memory of Bill & to raise money for this fantastic Charity who for more than 35 years we have been providing specialist end of life care and support to people from across Plymouth, South West Devon and East Cornwall, whether in the home, hospital or at our specialist unit at Turnchapel. St Lukes care for people with serious illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, multiple sclerosis and chronic lung disease, treating any adult over the age of 18. They do all they can to involve patients in decisions about their care, to maintain privacy and dignity in providing that care and to respect patients individual rights.
