Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 8th and 9th February 2020 I will be taking part in Track Attaque! This is a 24 hour cycle ride, on tandems, around the Derby Velodrome to raise money for Sight Support Derbyshire.
Sight loss or an impairment in sight could affect any one of us, at any time and does not discriminate by age, gender or race.
Sight Support Derbyshire works with local children and adults who are blind or partially sighted, to help them face the everyday challenges of living with sight loss.
The impact on daily living, when you have impaired vision, is life changing and charities like Sight Support Derbyshire are crucial to support those who are directly and indirectly affected. Whether this is to offer peer support, help with daily living or introducing aids/technology to improve quality of life to an individual.
I wanted to support this local charity because they have to raise two thirds of their funding themselves to keep providing excellent support for those who need it.
