We work throughout the world helping to improve the lives of donkeys and mules

Story

In January 2011, 19 donkeys were rescued from appalling conditions in Ireland. These donkeys were starving and had no shelter and added to that the extreme harsh weather we had in December and January.

Many of these donkeys were in foal when they were rescued, some have foaled already and the foals are thriving. One of the mares Jessica gave birth to a filly foal on 20th May 2011 and she has been named Sabrina.

Jessica was the 3,132nd donkey to come into our care.

While this photo shows a happy occasion of Jessica with her new foal, since Jessica came into our care in January 2011 and the birth of Sabrina in May, a staggering 164 donkeys have come through our doors in those four months alone.

Help us care for our ever growing family of donkeys by making a donation.
