Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I dedicate this to my Aunty Eileen, Uncle Doug and good friend Tony 'Tutsy' Wilson. All have passed away recently due to Cancer. Gone but never forgotten.
I am running the Great North Run to help Macmillan to continue to support people through very difficult times due to cancer. Myself and many of my relations and friends have been and are still affected by cancer. Cancer makes life very difficult and sadly often takes lives. Macmillan Cancer Support has helped and is helping my relations and friends to cope with the difficult and sad times.
I hope the money I raise can help the Macmillan work to continue until a cure is found for cancer.
People who know me, will readily tell you I am not the quickest. Therefore the elite runners are safe. However I am in full training around Coxhoe and surrounding villages and finding it hard. I last ran the Great North Run in the late 80's and forgot how hard running more than 2 to 3 miles is. I will do my best and will really appreciate any donations.
Thanks Don Williams
