Story

So I am walking 99 miles in November to raise absolutely vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.

4 weeks ago I had a biopsy on my brain tumour and we now have the results. It is a high grade aggressive, rare tumour and I need to start radiotherapy asap! To try and stunt it's growth. Not the news anyone wants to hear.

But technology and medicine advances everyday and I am hoping and praying through research a miracle cue will be found.

Having a focus this month is vital for my mental and physical health.

Ahead of treatment starting.

If anyone fancies joining me for some miles, you are most welcome.

I know that times are tough for lots right now financially and really appreciate that christmas is ahead but if you are able to donate whatever you feel able to, we will be so very grateful.

Never did we think as a family we would be dealing with all of this but we are and we will win together ❤️ I hope and pray.

Wearing my big girl pants and going to use every element of PMA I have in my power. Walking, maybe some running if i get permission.

Staying focused on family, friends, work and exercise will keep me going. I am blessed to be here and ready to win.

Help us fund the fight against brain tumours.

Thanks for reading, much love Dominique xx

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
