I have been blessed with the opportunity to run London Marathon for Acorns Children's Hospice.

This is a charity close to my heart. My best friend lost her beautiful daughter Effie at just 4 months of age. I will be running London Marathon in her memory, on a day, just a week after what would have been her 5th birthday. No one could ever imagine the pain felt on a daily basis when you lose a child. Acorns offer emotion and practical support for families at this traumatic time - and beyond.
