Help me raise money for research into heart diseases, cures and prevention!
One week before my 40th birthday I was hospitalised with endocarditis and had an emergency operation to replace my mitral heart valve. My life was saved thanks to the work of countless medical researchers to make this procedure possible. I’m now raising money for the British Heart Foundation to say thank you for all their past work and to help continue the research so many more people can be helped in the future. Here’s some more about what they do:
The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and they're all under our microscope.
