This March 2025, a dedicated group of cadets from Derbyshire and Norfolk Police are trading their comfortable beds for sleeping bags in a heartfelt effort to raise vital funds and awareness for veterans experiencing homelessness in the UK. These young individuals are stepping up to support those who have served our country and now find themselves without a place to call home.

By participating in this sleep-out and building improvised shelters, the cadets aim to highlight the challenges faced by homeless veterans and to rally the community around this important cause. Every penny raised will go directly to Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), an organization committed to providing safe, warm housing and ensuring that every veteran has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disabilities.
